Mygrow
Mygrow is a mushroom grower designed for recycling wasted food into mushrooms for consumption.
Problem &
Target Audiences
We decided to focus the problem on individual consumers as this would be easier to change, we targeted people who are in their early 20s, live in an urban environment and is busy.

The product will be able used to recycle food wastes that is normally not use such as coffee grounds, vegetable and fruit peels etc.
From this we developed a paper prototype, the planned prototype was a cylindrical shaper, but due to manufacturing limitations we made the shape into a cuboid.

The machine is powered by a USB mini B connected to an electrical outlet, to turn on the machine the user can flip the switch. Once the switch is flipped the sensor would begin detecting ambient temperature and humidity, and the data would be displayed on the OLED screen at the front. If humidity gets too low the arduino would turn on the humidifier misting the system.
